Thank you, San Francisco!

When you buy larger items from Safeway (case of beer, detergent, cooler, etc.) they stick a "thank you" sticker on there so everyone knows its payed for. I have a sneaking suspicion that your everyday employee isn't really thankful for your purchase. So for Billapalooza/St. Patti's Day we took a roll (around a 1,000) of these stickers and sincerely thanked San Francisco. For what, you may ask?

Whether they were smiling, laughing, doing their job, getting dressed, getting undressed, dancing, singing, etc. they got a sticker along with a meaningful, respectful thank you.. Take that Safeway, and thanks for selling us beer.
Thanks again San Francisco!

My new website - not much construction left.

For the off chance that someone, someday, may take me seriously, I made a website. In the website you can find, in entirety, my acting career and sound engineering that I've been up to for the last couple of years. So check out www.Joel-Sadler.com if you're interested, there are great music videos under "sound" and plenty of me under "acting."

The Flaming Lips don't play shows — they put on spectacles. The alt-rock group embraces eccentricity in their live performances: they've rolled around in giant spheres, constructed a giant UFO, even dressed concertgoers up up in animal costumes and Santa hats and had them dance around on stage. Psychedelic! Do yourself a favor and see them live.

Here's a video we shot for Margo and the Nuclear So & So's - Enjoy!

Margot and the Nuclear So & So's - As Tall as cliffs - A Take Away Show from La Blogotheque on Vimeo.
With makeshift instruments ranging from whiskey bottles to suitcases, Margo's sounds are remarkably in tune with the emotions this song evokes. It was late in the night, or early in the morning, rather, but we got the feeling they were enjoying this just as much as we were. With USF’s church and few city lights in the background, their music made the setting come to life.

A Take Away Show with Delta Spirit

Without giving anything away, l'll just say that we did a Take Away Show with Delta Spirit on one...

It started out absolutely insane then settled to a peaceful whisper. I've never seen any artist get into a song like Matt Vasquez got into "People, Turn Around". It was beautiful. Stay tuned to LA BLOGOTHEQUE to see them soon.
